Create the most invisible fusion bonds possible making custom installs a dream.

Fuse K-Tip bonds to your client's hair like never before with our Precision Mini bonding iron. This tool has been specially designed to fit ergonomically in your hand during use for full comfort and control. Internal heating source will not fluctuate, allowing even and precise temperature during use.

Which iron is better, standard size, versatile, or mini?

It all depends on the size of the bond you're creating. For the best installation, the tip of your iron should not be smaller than the tab you are heating.

Precision mini irons, like this one, are excellent for creating small pearl bonds or baby bonds. When you need to install the smallest bonds in thinner areas, a standard full size iron will work but a mini iron is the best choice for precision placement. The smaller tip allows you to see and control exactly where the bond is being placed. A smaller iron tip also does not overlap beyond the keratin as much so you avoid heating the surrounding hair. This is especially important around the hairline where the hair is more fragile.

Not every install calls for the same iron. If your bond sizes vary or you work primarily with full-size k-tips, one of our other two irons may be a better fit:

Our Versatile Keratin Bonding Iron offers a mid-size tip that's compact enough for good visibility on smaller bonds while still large enough to fully melt a standard k-tip tab in one press. If you install a range of bond sizes and want one iron that does it all, the Versatile is a strong choice.

On the other hand, our Digital Keratin Bonding Iron has the widest heat plates to melt full size k-tip tabs in one press. This allows you to heat the tab evenly which creates the strongest, cleanest bond. With a standard size iron, you avoid having to move the iron to heat different areas of the tab when you are installing full-size k-tips or larger arrow bonds.

Tip design may vary slightly between the colors but functionality is the same.

This is the same tool you see other extensions companies putting their brand name on and selling at a higher price. It's a nice tool and it works well. It won't last forever though. Depending on how heavily it is used and how it is cared for, you should expect it to last one to three years.

Many educators will suggest always having a backup iron available during an install.

The appliance displays temperature in °C (Celsius). This is not the same as °F (Fahrenheit). If the bond you are applying specifies a °F temperature, use the conversion chart below.

Using a higher temperature gives a faster, more thorough melt which can set up a stronger bond. Higher temperature can be harder to work with for stylists who are newer to keratin bond installation.
